Case study — Freelance marketplace
Cashtics
A task marketplace connecting flexible workers with businesses posting short jobs — verified profiles, escrow-style payment flow, and an operator dashboard that clears a day's queue in one pass.
The challenge
Freelancers and short-job employers in the region lacked a unified platform. Existing solutions were generic, had no payment protection, and offered limited Arabic-language support for local operators.
Our solution
We built a task marketplace from scratch using Laravel and Vue.js, deployed on AWS. The platform includes verified user profiles, an escrow-style payment flow that protects both parties, and an operator dashboard designed to clear a full day's queue in a single pass.
Key features
- Escrow-style payment flow with automated release
- Verified freelancer and employer profiles
- Operator dashboard for bulk task management
- Real-time notifications and task status tracking
- Responsive Arabic and English interface
Outcome
Cashtics launched with steady month-over-month growth in posted tasks. The operator dashboard reduced manual queue processing time significantly, and the escrow system built enough trust for repeat usage from both sides of the marketplace.
